Technical Support Services
Technical support during
the warranty period:
During the product warranty period technical support is
available ‘free of charge’ by telephone, email and via the
VLM web site where updated service bulletins are a source of
valuable information. Spares parts are also available in the
Webshop site and can be purchased on-line.
Extended warranty:
For customers that require extra warranty VLM offers
additional 12 moths warranty period in which 'free of charge'
service and technical supoport is provided.
Remote technical support:
After the warranty period is expired for customers who
do not have the possibility of a visit by a VLM engineer or
do not require a visit as they have the facilities to look
after the equipment themselves we offer the remote technical
support via phone. If no maintenance or service visit is
required this type of support will be charged.
Product service and maintenance:
VLM products will benefit greatly from regular service
and maintenance by a trained engineer. This will maintain
reliability and minimize downtime. Service intervals will
depend upon usage levels, however, we recommend an annual
service at a minimum. We offer an annual maintenance contract
which includes one visit of our engineer per year and 'free
of charge' remote support via phone.
Equipment
calibration:
We offer calibration services for Temperature and Air
Pressure. Please note that the huimidity sensor can not be
re-calibrated and need to be replaced when necessary. All
calibration is undertaken using dedicated, special purpose
instrumentation, maintained fully traceable to national
standards.
Product
training:
To achieve the most from VLM products the product training
is available. For test chambers the training is planned
upon installation/commissioning. Operator training is also
recommended at any time during the product’s life when there
are staff changes.
